It’s a simple enough action and something we all do everyday…
We install smoke alarms and sprinklers to prevent against fire. We keep food in the refrigerator to prevent it from going bad. We wear coats, mittens, and hats during winter to prevent from getting cold.
Why then, don’t more of us practice prevention when it comes to our health?
Partly, I think it has to do with the fact that traditional medicine is largely focused on curing symptoms rather than the root cause of many health issues. Treatment rather than prevention. This has taught us to be reactive when it comes to our personal wellness, when we should be proactive.
