I want to teach patients you can live a healthy lifestyle, no matter what size you are. I want to empower people to take their wellbeing into their own hands, rather than being told what medications you should take to feel better.” -Dr. Sabrina Crossley

When I was in university, I thought I was going to become a medical doctor. Then, in my second year, I started volunteering with a chiropractor and I saw how much potential there was to influence a patient’s everyday life, and educate them on living a healthy lifestyle.

I started to understand how chiropractic care provided preventative medicine, as opposed to reactive medicine. And I became a doctor on a mission: I’m here to teach patients you can live a healthy lifestyle, no matter what size you are. I want to empower people to take their wellbeing into their own hands, rather than being told what medications you should take to feel better.

This is why I chose to work for Align Health Centre. I love how everyone works together, sharing cases and insight, putting patient care first. I joined the clinic in 2011, and I’ve had two babies since then. Maybe this is why I am so passionate about treating families. I especially enjoy working with pregnant women and children. I think patients feel comfortable with me. They trust me to help guide them with a custom treatment plan. And the positive changes I see in a patient’s life after treatment is the greatest reward I could ask for.
